Pablo Ochoa de Olza (Pablo Who) was born and works in Pamplona. His artistic journey began in 1984 with graffiti, a medium that became his first channel of expression. In 1990, he won the National Graffiti Contest of Los 40 Principales, but instead of settling, he felt he was not yet ready to dedicate himself professionally to art. He decided to deepen his training, taking his learning to New York, where he spent a year immersed in art, drawing and painting tirelessly, visiting galleries and museums while surviving in a challenging environment.
His journey continued in Germany, where he worked for four years in the restoration of ancient art under the tutelage of E. Stock. There, he refined his technique, developing patience, manual dexterity, and a deep knowledge of materials. Upon returning to Spain in 1994, he studied graphic design and painting robot programming, an unexpected turn that led him to work for 25 years in the industrial painting robotics industry.
In 2019, he decided to return to art as a profession, reconnecting with his graffiti roots and exploring new media and techniques. His current work revives the iconography of the 80s-90s, reinterpreting it with a unique and contemporary language. Since 2022, he has been researching and experimenting with transparent supports, exploring the intersection between urban art and public space.
